We kicked off 2026 at Newsreel Academy with a session on Study Abroad Opportunities, led by Manzer—an Oxford graduate and Chevening Scholar.
While many global opportunities exist, a lot of capable students either don’t know about them or feel they’re too out of reach. This session broke down those barriers and walked participants through how to begin the journey.

In this session, we discussed the evolution of Right to Information as a potent tool for empowering citizens to ensure accountability and transparency in governance, and the speaker provided insights on how to effectively utilise it.
The session was conducted by Abhay who’s a lawyer and co-founder of Zenith Society for socio-legal empowerment. Zenith is a non-profit organisation working on grassroots legal empowerment of Sahariya Adivasi communities in India.
