On April 16, Newsreel Academy, in collaboration with Agence France-Presse (AFP), conducted an online workshop titled “Tackling Misinformation and Fake News.” The workshop was led by Sophia Xu, AFP’s Digital Training Manager for Asia-Pacific, Sumit Dubey, AFP’s India Editor, and Devesh Mishra, who specializes in debunking misinformation in India. The session provided participants with hands-on insights into fact-checking methods and navigating the challenges of digital misinformation.
