STORYTELLING TRAINING- NJTP
Central to our mission is a one-month online “New Journalism Training Programme,” or NJTP, a comprehensive course dedicated to narrative nonfiction – a style where storytelling is the heartbeat of information dissemination and generating empathy is a primary objective. Guided by our belief that “News is Best Told in Stories,” this course employs storytelling techniques to effectively communicate crucial issues. It is open to individuals from diverse backgrounds, including journalists, documentary filmmakers and communication specialists, and offers comprehensive training in the art of storytelling.
VIDEO PRODUCTION
While storytelling forms the essence of our work, our expertise extends seamlessly into the visual medium. Tailored for journalism students aspiring for careers in visual storytelling, the Video Production course covers all fundamental aspects such as photography, composition, cinematography and production planning. Participants gain a comprehensive skill set essential for success in the dynamic field of visual media.
AUDIO STORYTELLING
In Newsreel Asia, audio takes centre stage as our second core vertical. Utilising proven storytelling techniques, The Art of Audio Storytelling course guides participants in crafting compelling audio narratives. Covering the essentials of audio storytelling, scripting, and production, this course offers a thorough understanding, empowering individuals to produce impactful audio content for diverse audiences.
